Blog-what?

I am totally new to this blog stuff.  All I know is you are supposed to read a bunch of other blogs before you start your own.  If I had time to that, I wouldn't have time to get this started.  So, I'm looking forward to the progression of this blog and I think  it will take on a life of its own.

So the first question I get from friends will be, "What is with the Mill Creek thing?"  One of the most attractive things about the property we chose to build our home was the fact that it overlooked this field which ran into a creek (Mill Creek).  Our house will actually overlook a newly renovated covered bridge which I absolutely adore.
